Reform Ohio Now: Phonebank from home!

The latest poll on the Reform Ohio Now ballot issues (2 through 5) show two of them winning, one of them losing (redistricting), and one of them tied (the role of the Secretary of State).

I just received an email from RON asking for volunteers all across the country to help with a last minute GOTV virtual phone-bank.  You don't need to be in Ohio to participate.  Please sign up for the phone-bank and help with the last-minute GOTV push to get supporters to the polls!

RON will send you a script and the phone numbers to call.  You will be calling confirmed supporters to remind them to vote tomorrow, so these phone-calls will be really easy!

Dear Fran for Dean,

Tomorrow is the big day. Everything depends on the next 24 hours, and we need your help.

It's time to get out there and make it happen! We have a good chance of winning on all four ballot issues. But only if we can get all hands on deck. Tomorrow is your last chance to really do something to bring historic change to Ohio, and you don't even have to leave your home.

We need you and all of your friends to join our virtual phonebank tonight or tomorrow. We'll be calling voters who've already told us they support the issues, reminding them to get to the polls--so the calls will be fast and easy. Despite the multi-million dollar ad campaign mounted by the lobbyists and state contractors who want to keep the status quo, our grassroots reforms are truly close to passing. And turnout will be the key to victory.

We've had over 200 people making phone calls from their own homes the past few nights. They've said making these calls has been a "great experience."
